Frequently Asked Questions
Who are Beacon Financial Group and LPL Financial?
Beacon Financial Group is the local financial advisory firm based in Warren, New Jersey, where I work directly with individuals and families to deliver personalized financial planning and ongoing advisory services.

LPL Financial is our broker-dealer, which provides the investment platform, custodial services, and back-office resources that support my work with clients. This structure allows me to offer independent, objective advice while still having the infrastructure and oversight of a large, established firm.

Together, this setup combines personalized guidance with institutional-level support.

Do I need a certain amount of assets to work with you?
I work best with people who are facing meaningful financial decisions and want clarity before acting, often those approaching retirement or managing financial complexity alongside a busy life.

That usually means you’ve already saved and accumulated assets, but more importantly, you care about making thoughtful decisions and don’t want to guess or hope things work out.
If you’re unsure whether you’re a fit, a conversation can help clarify that.

Is this just for people who are about to retire?
Many of the people I work with are within several years of retirement, because the decisions tend to feel more permanent and interconnected.

That said, I also work with busy professionals who are navigating complex financial choices and want a second set of eyes before making moves that affect their future.
The common thread isn’t age, it’s complexity and the desire for clarity.

Do you only manage investments?
No. Investments are an important part of the picture, but they’re never the whole picture.

My role is to help you understand how everything works together: investments, income, taxes, insurance, and your broader life goals. Investment management often plays a role in that, but it’s always guided by a clear plan and ongoing coordination, so decisions are made intentionally, not in isolation.

How do you charge for your services?
Fees depend on the scope of work and how we’re working together.

Most relationships involve ongoing advisory work, with planning and guidance that continues as life and markets change. Any fees and structure are explained clearly upfront, so you know what to expect before making any decisions.

What’s the difference between working with you and getting a one-time financial plan?
A one-time plan can be helpful, but most important financial decisions don’t happen all at once.

Life changes. Markets change. Priorities change. I provide ongoing guidance so you’re not left making decisions based on outdated assumptions or a plan that no longer reflects your reality.
The goal isn’t just a document, it’s confidence over time.

What’s the first step if I want to explore working together?
The first step is simply a conversation.

It’s an opportunity to talk through what you’re facing, what decisions are on your mind, and whether working together makes sense. There’s no pressure to move forward, just a chance to get clarity and decide next steps thoughtfully.

Is this a good fit if I’m looking for quick answers or DIY guidance?
Probably not.

I work best with people who value thoughtful planning, discussion, and ongoing guidance, not quick fixes or one-time answers. If you’re looking for reassurance, clarity, and a long-term thinking partner, the relationship tends to be a much better fit.

If you’re unsure whether your situation fits any of the above, that uncertainty alone is often a good reason to talk things through. A second set of eyes can be helpful before decisions become permanent.
