We all want to retire once and stay retired. What are you doing to ensure that?​

 

My main priority is to help individuals and families answer the three most important questions when planning for retirement:

  1. What is my number?
    How much money will I need to live the life that I want?

     

  2. How do I get there?
    What steps do I need to take to reach my number?

     

  3. How do I make it last?
    How do I ensure that I do not outlive my money?

As you plan for retirement, you should be able to confidently answer these three questions. If not, you are leaving your retirement to chance.

My Approach

Planning for the future can be complex and time consuming. How do you figure out what you need, how to get it, and how to make it last?​ 

 

​As a CFP and Financial Advisor, I will develop, build, and help you implement a plan that addresses your financial needs and goals. This plan will allow you the freedom to live the life that you want to live, not a life that you have to live.

MPowered Finance Process

My process is simple:

 

  1. Intro call/meeting –– We will discuss your current financial standing, your future goals, and what a dream retirement looks like for you. This will help me understand your current situation so I can start thinking through the steps needed to achieve your future financial wellbeing.

    I will also go over my approach to financial planning and outline the services I provide.
     

  2. Data gathering –– The more I understand your current financial position, the better equipped I will be to provide recommendations and plan for your future. 

    In this step, I will review your finances including account statements, income statements (W2’s and paystubs), prior tax returns, insurance policies, and investments.

    This exercise will allow us to understand what areas of your finances need the most attention as we work to design a plan to achieve your financial goals.
     

  3. Design Your Plan –– Based on the data collected, I will begin developing a comprehensive financial plan for you and your family. 

    This plan will address your needs for today, as well as your goals for tomorrow.

     

  4. Implementation and Monitoring –– You will be onboarded as a new client and we will begin the process of implementing your financial plan.

    I always remind my clients that this is not a set-it and forget-it relationship. I will continue to monitor and evaluate the performance of your plan in order to ensure that you are on track with your goals and will make adjustments along the way as needed.

 I am licensed and able to use a wide variety of financial tools and strategies as we implement your plan. This may include both fee-based solutions and/or commission-based products. Regardless, I will do my best to help you achieve your goals and will guide you through the process every step of the way.

 

 

It is important to note that I require a minimum of 2 client meetings per year in order to stay up to date on your finances and to handle anything that may occur.
